At Reno Flooring, we don't just promise the best price — we put it in writing and back it with a guarantee. If you've received a written quote from any competitor for the same or comparable flooring product, we will beat their price by $1.00 per square metre. No negotiating, no fine print runaround. Just a better price, confirmed in writing before you commit to anything.

How the guarantee works

Claiming your price beat is simple:

  • Step 1 — Obtain a written quote from a competitor. The quote must show the product name or specification, the quantity, and the total price.

  • Step 2 — Share the quote with our team — by email, WhatsApp, or in person during your free in-home consultation.

  • Step 3 — We'll verify the product is the same or comparable, confirm our price-beat figure, and put our lower price in writing.

  • Step 4 — Proceed with confidence — knowing you've got the best available price, in writing, with Reno Flooring's quality installation behind it.

The price beat applies to both supply-only and supply-and-install quotes. We'll beat the per-m² rate on the product itself by at least $1.00/m².

 

What the guarantee covers

Our Price Beat Guarantee applies when all of the following conditions are met:

  • Same or comparable product — the competitor's product must be the same flooring type (e.g. hybrid, laminate, engineered timber) with the same or equivalent specification — including thickness, wear layer rating, and waterproofing rating. We assess "comparable" fairly — if the products deliver the same performance standard, the guarantee applies.

  • Written quote required — the competitor's price must be presented as a written quote, or a clearly advertised published price (including online store prices). Verbal quotes, estimates, or prices "a mate mentioned" do not qualify.

  • Legitimately available price — the competitor's price must be a genuine price available to you as a retail customer — not a trade-only price, a bulk commercial rate, or a price requiring special membership or account status.

  • In-stock product — the competitor's product must be in stock and available for purchase at the quoted price at the time you present the quote to us.

  • Australian competitor — the quote must be from a competitor operating in Australia. Online retailers shipping from overseas are subject to our assessment of total landed cost including freight and duties.

 

What the guarantee does not cover

The following are excluded from our Price Beat Guarantee:

  • Cashback and coupon offers — prices only available through manufacturer cashback schemes, coupon codes, voucher promotions, or limited-time promotional codes that are not openly published.

  • Commercial and trade pricing — prices available exclusively to builders, developers, or trade account holders that are not available to the general public.

  • Clearance and liquidation stock — products being sold as part of a business closure, stock liquidation, receivership sale, or end-of-line clearance where the product will not be restocked.

  • Installation-only quotes — quotes from competitors for installation labour only, where Reno Flooring would also be supplying the product.

  • Unreasonable quantities — we reserve the right to limit price beat claims to reasonable residential or small commercial quantities. Wholesale bulk orders are assessed separately.

  • Quotes older than 30 days — competitor quotes must be current — dated within 30 days of your claim. Prices change and we assess the current market, not historical pricing.

  • Products we don't supply — the guarantee applies to flooring categories we stock and install. We cannot price-beat on products outside our range.

 

Online competitor prices

Our Price Beat Guarantee extends to prices found at Australian online flooring retailers, subject to the following:

  • Delivery cost included — when assessing an online price, we factor in the total delivered cost to your address — including freight charges. If an online retailer offers a product at $29/m² but freight to your Brisbane or Gold Coast address adds $8/m², the effective price we're comparing against is $37/m².

  • Same product specification — online flooring products must be the same thickness, wear layer, and construction type as the product we're quoting. Generic descriptions like "hybrid flooring" are not sufficient — we compare detailed specifications.

  • In-stock and available — the online product must be in stock and available for delivery to your location at the time of the claim.
