Supply-Only Hybrid Flooring Delivered to Nambucca, Yamba and Grafton — How It Works

Quick answer: You can buy hybrid flooring supply-only and have it delivered to Nambucca, Yamba, Grafton, Coffs Harbour and the wider Mid North Coast. Measure your rooms, add about 10% for cuts and waste, order online or by phone, and we'll call you first to arrange delivery — usually 2–5 business days for regional areas. Someone needs to be home to receive the pallet.

  • Live outside our install area

  • Are renovating in stages and want to buy the floor now

You get the same floors we install — delivered to your door.

Step 1: Choose your floor

Start by ordering up to three free samples ($19.90 flat postage Australia-wide). Look at them in your own light, on the floor, at different times of day.

Things to check:

  • Wear layer — 0.3 mm suits most homes; 0.5 mm+ for big dogs, rentals and heavy use. See our wear layer guide.

  • Thickness — thicker planks feel more solid and handle slightly uneven floors better.

  • Attached underlay — saves buying a separate one and helps reduce noise.

Step 2: Measure your rooms

  1. Measure the length and width of each room in metres.

  2. Multiply them to get square metres (m²).

  3. Add the rooms together.

  4. Add around 10% extra for cuts and waste (more for rooms with lots of corners or for herringbone).

Each product page shows how many m² are in a box, and the calculator works out how many boxes you need.

Tip: order a little extra and keep a spare box for future repairs. Colours can vary slightly between batches.

Step 3: Add the extras

Depending on your floor, you may need:

  • Moisture barrier — for hybrid on concrete, our black-roll moisture barrier adds extra protection from slab moisture.

  • Trims — colour-matched scotia, stair nosing, end caps, T-mouldings and reducers.

  • Underlay — not needed for hybrids with attached underlay. Laminate needs one.

Step 4: Delivery

  • Timing: regional deliveries usually take 2–5 business days. Metro areas are faster.

  • We call first to arrange a delivery time.

  • Someone must be home to receive the pallet.

  • Unloading depends on the carrier. Make sure there's clear, safe access for a truck and a flat spot to place the pallet.

  • Keep boxes flat, dry and inside once they arrive — not in a damp shed or out in the sun.

Step 5: Installation

Your installer should follow the manufacturer's installation guide. The basics:

  • The subfloor must be clean, dry, flat and firm.

  • Leave expansion gaps around walls and fixed objects.

  • Don't install under fixed kitchen cabinets.

  • Very long rooms may need expansion breaks.

  • Hybrid isn't suitable for rooms with a floor drain.

Hybrid is one of the most installer-friendly floors you can buy:

  • Click-together planks — no glue, no waiting.

  • Rigid core — more forgiving of small subfloor imperfections than thin vinyl plank, which usually needs a near-perfect base.

  • Waterproof core — unlike laminate, it won't swell from spills.
