The Riverhill Elegant 9.5mm takes one of Australia's most trusted hybrid ranges and makes it better in every dimension that matters for main living areas. Thicker, longer, wider, and quieter — this is the version of the Elegant range built for the rooms you spend the most time in.

 

The core specification is the same as the 6.5mm: a 100% waterproof limestone and PVC composite SPC core that handles spills, coastal humidity, and pet accidents without absorbing a drop. A 0.5mm wear layer provides genuine scratch resistance for family homes with pets and children. The patented click-lock system and pre-adhered 1.5mm IXPE underlay mean installation is clean and straightforward over most existing subfloors.

 

What changes at 9.5mm is the experience underfoot. The thicker board is noticeably quieter and more substantial — the 6-star AAAC acoustic rating makes it one of the best-performing hybrid floors available for apartments and multi-storey homes where noise transmission between floors matters. The longer 1820mm boards and wide 228mm plank format also create fewer visible joins across the floor, giving open-plan living areas a more seamless, architectural feel.
